Course Description
The Introductory course into the Sowa-Rigpa system of Medicine will give an overview of the historical aspects, its evolution, nature and scope for learning and further integrating its principles and practices into one’s daily life to promote and restore health. It also gives boost to the ethical values of a Physician in general and Sowa-Rigpa Practitioner in particular in this age of information.
Course objective –
I. To provide the participants about the fundamental principles and aspects of Traditional Sowa-Rigpa Medicine
II. To provide the participants an overview about the balanced and imbalanced state of human body.
III. To provide ways to maintain health through diet, behavior management , medicines and therapeutic procedures.
Course outcome are, the participants will be able to -
A. understand the fundamental principles and aspects of Traditional Sowa-Rigpa Medicine
B. Know the balanced and imbalanced state of Human health
C. Understand the fundamental principles of diagnosing diseases and maintaining health through diet, behavioral modifications, administration of medicines and therapeutic procedures.
